dsporman@sacdt.com
206-443-1111
Debra started her aquatics journey at the age of eight on the Fullerton Aquatics Sports Team (FAST) in California. She loved swimming, as it gave her a competitive outlet through high school and college, and a tight-knit social circle.
More about Debra
That community followed her through most of her life as she taught at her sister’s swim school, lifeguarded for private parties, and coached on the very team she grew up swimming for, leading her ten and under group of kids to Junior Olympics in 2012 where three of them placed in the top ten.
Seeking adventure and an opportunity to explore outside her home state, Debra joined the SAC Team at the beginning of summer 2022 as a Swim Instructor, meeting members and networking at the Front Desk before moving into Membership that fall. In the autumn of 2024, she set her sights on transitioning more fully into the Aquatics Department as Director, to offer a launching pad for program development and social activities. With a focus on Communications (Fullerton College) and special interests in Health and Fitness, she looks forward to working together!

Sharrón Hasu
Group Fitness Director
For more than 30 years, fitness has been Sharrón’s way of connecting with people, building community, and helping others discover just how strong they really are—often stronger than they think, especially before the warm-up.
More about Sharrón Hasu
Her journey began with dance, choreography, cheerleading, cycling, and competitive athletics as a member of the Nike and Avia Aerobic Teams. After attending San Diego State University and interning at San Diego Sports Medicine, she built a rewarding career as a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, Group Fitness Director, instructor, and mentor—including 17 meaningful years at Seattle Athletic Club.
She believes great fitness programs are about much more than exercise—and definitely more than burpees. They create welcoming spaces where people feel supported, inspired, and connected. Whether encouraging someone through their very first class or celebrating a life-changing achievement, her greatest joy comes from meeting people wherever they are in their journey.
Outside of fitness, her favorite place to be is with her family. She is a wife, a mom of five, and a proud cat mom to Jake, Greywulf, and Clyde—three wonderfully different personalities who generously allow her to live in their home. Jake even became a bit of a COVID-era internet sensation, although fame has not inspired him to contribute toward the household expenses!
She is also passionate about domestic violence prevention advocacy and believes deeply in the power of compassion and community.
